Growth Goals

Take responsibility for your growth. Ask yourself, what can I do to make me better? You have been programmed from a child how to think by your parents, teachers and coaches. People take reading as a period of life instead of a way of life. When you stop learning you stop growing. A person who doesn’t read is like a person who can’t read. What are you doing to stretch your self? Do something everyday. Daily growth expands your thinking. Read books, listen to CD’s go to seminars to help you grow. Learn how to communicate. With modern technology it’s easy to grow. The Internet is the number one way of communication and has every resource you can think of.

People often confuse being goal conscious with growth conscious. Being goal oriented is like having a destination disease. You find yourself plateau having nowhere else to move. Growth oriented is a continuous process. Within growth consciousness you can make goals, but once you’re finished with one goal ask yourself, what can I do next to make this better. Produce more than you are producing. Have an abundance of overflow. Promotion will come your way. The world is changing everyday. You have to do something new. Be a problem solver and present solutions.

When developing a personal growth plan you have to put forth the effort, activity and talent. It generates results. During your growth process, you will learn how to communicate effectively. The more you understand someone the better you can serve him or her with their needs and wants.

Find out what you are good at and increase in that area. From a stay at home mom to a CEO or President of the United States, everyone needs constant growth in order to solve problems.

Once a year attend a seminar with people who are in the same field and be open to learn. Good mentors are another great way to help you think right. Surround yourself with mentors smarter than you to expand your growth. Don’t waste your time with people who aren’t going anywhere. Associate with people who build you up. You deserve to get what you want in life but it starts with you learning and growing. What are you going to do?

Marching Band Makes History

Congratulations to South Cobb High School's Blue Eagle Marching Band in Atlanta metro area. South Cobb High School was selected to represent the State of Georgia in the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Parade. This school was selected from over 350 applicants to represent our great state of Georgia.

South Cobb High School and Q100 Atlanta Bert Show made it their mission to involve the community to help raise $71,000 for their expenses and transportation. It is always a fulfilling experience to be able to give to such meaningful causes. What is more fulfilling is to see the community participate in giving to this worthy cause. Not only the kids made history but also my contribution to the cause made my family and I apart of this history!

Evaluate a company that’s right for you!

Sometimes it is very hard to choose a good work from home company that is a fit for you. I‘ve been burned a few times, so that’s why I’m going to share some of my ideas with you so you can make an inform decision.

Now I want to be clear, there are a lot of bad people representing non-legitimate Companies, and on the flip side there are a lot of good people representing legitimate companies. Just use a little common sense!

1: Will the company provide you a free trial or products samples? Give it a try, and if you decide it’s not for you, all you’ve invested is a little time.

2: Does the company you are excited about provide a product and service that you need and want?

3: Does the product and service add value to you, by solving your problems?

4: Is the presentation of the product and service simple, make sense, duplicatable, and exciting? Can you see your self-doing it!

5: Are you comfortable and have a good connection with the person sharing the opportunity with you?

6: Are you attracted to the company’s mission and message?

7: Is the value of the product and service investment reasonable?

8: Does the company provide you with beneficial resources to help you build your business?

9: After getting the facts, if your gut feeling wants you to do your due diligence on the company, research the company through reputable organizations such as BBB, DSA, and the Attorney General office. Check with the Attorney General office, according to the state where the company is located.

How to Build Relationships

1. Spend time trying to understand others perspectives, listening with an open mind and without judgment.

2. Encourage others to voice their opinions. What do they care about? How do they interpret what’s going on? Why?

3. Before expressing your ideas, try to anticipate how others will react to them and how you might best explain them.

4. When expressing your ideas, don’t just give a bottom line; explain your reasoning process.

5. Access the strengths of your current connections: How well do you relate to others when receiving advice? When giving advice? When thinking through difficult problems? When asking for help?

Finding a Good Mentor

Here’s some tips on finding a good mentor. Everyone needs someone who has gone down the path before us. Look out in the world and see people already doing what you want to do. Once you identify them, call or write them and say may I spend 10 minutes a week with you on the phone. Start with a small request. They will let it expand if they enjoy spending time with you. If you ask for an hour it will seem overwhelming to them.

Tell them you respect them and admire them and you’d like to learn from them. If you do this and do the things they tell you to do and report back to them and say you asked me to do this & that and I did it. Then they will feel empowered that they are empowering you. They will want to keep doing that because we love to help other people. So don’t be afraid to ask, reach out. If you get a no ask someone else. Never give up on your dream to have a perfect mentor.

There are a lot of people out there that can help you. Not just one person. Always end by thanking them. You can send them a little present. Introduce them to other people; maybe send them an article that would be interesting to them. Give value to them so they will be glad to give value back to you.

Characteristic of a good Mentor

1. Trust Worthy

2. Successful

3. Honest- You need someone to tell you what you need to hear not want to hear

4. Experience

5. Helpful Spirit

6. Understand you

7. Unconditionally Love You

How To Get Wealthy

1. Make the decision that you want to be wealthy.

2. Close your eyes every night and morning. Live the life that you want to live. What this does is program your unconscious mind to come up with solutions. Your will start seeing resources that you have never seen before.

3. Start studying how to get rich. Read books on how to get wealthy, personal growth/development how to develop your finances etc.

4. Find others who are already wealthy and how to get into their spirit of influence. Get involved with their meetings, books, seminars, hang out with them, join the country club and maybe fly first class every once and a while. Get around those people because you are going to learn to think like them.

If you do these things wealth is a guaranteed result.
